Imo PDP Cautions Okorocha Over Criticism Of Jonathan Administration

Ahead of President Goodluck Jonathan’s scheduled visit to Imo State on Friday, the Imo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has decried the level at which the State government has continuously denied the presence of Federal Government in terms of projects, infrastructure and programmes in Imo state.
At the party secretariat in Owerri the Imo State capital, a chieftain of the party in the state and member of the Federal Executive Council, Nigeria’s Foreign Minister, Professor Viola Onwuliri alleged that the state government, under the All progressive Congress (APC), in recent times had continued to criticise the Federal Government without any cause.

Google and VMware advance plans for the death of the desktop

No question about it, the PC is taking a backseat to mobile tech in both the consumer and business worlds. But some companies can't part completely with Windows because of issues like legacy apps or existing workflows.
Google and VMware have proposed a solution:Give those people Chromebooks, and virtualize their Windows desktops and apps to those devices via HTML5 by way of VMware Horizon View's desktop as a service.

Many big name companies working on head-mounted gear, Glass display maker says

Himax already supplies the display for Google Glass and says it's working with other major IT and electronics brands as well

The Taiwanese company that makes the display used in Google's Glass head-mounted display says it's working with multiple big-name electronics companies on head-mounted gadget products. Himax executives wouldn't divulge the identities of the companies they are working with, but said they are big and sales should increase this year.
